FAVORITE FIVE FRIDAY

20 Jan

Every Friday I will be sharing five of my favorite things!!! Why??? Because it puts a smile on my face! This week I will be Featuring Five of my Favorite Flea market Finds!!!! Really I just wanted to see how many F words I could use in a sentence!!!! 🙂

Some of my favorite places to shop for everything from home decor to vintage clothing are flea markets. I love spending my Sunday afternoons rummaging through bins of undervalued treasures. My favorite flea markets are the Pasadena Rose Bowl Flea Market, and the Melrose Trading Post.  Both are held on Sundays, it’s probably best you get there early if you want dibs on the good stuff. Some things can be a little over priced so you might want to brush up on your bartering skills before you arrive. They can also be a hit or miss at times but when you find that one original item, you will wonder how you ever lived with out it! So here are my five favorite items I have acquired in my days at the flea market…

A set of flawless tall glasses to add to my eclectic decor

Dainty floral plates, perfect for a tea party

A vintage bread box that keeps my counter tops neat and tidy, and adds color to my otherwise drab kitchen

Various candlestick holders that are now the centerpiece of every dinner party I host

A really cool shredded Levi’s vest that adds a little funk to any outfit

What are your favorite flea market finds???
